Welfare Wednesdays

It’s Welfare Wednesday, so here’s a little food for thought as you chew on that chicken sandwich paid for by thousands of your unassuming peers:

According to the Chronicle of Higher Education‘s annual faculty salary survey, the money spent each year on Welfare Wednesday could endow two full professors with enough spare change to pay the full in-state tuition of eight struggling UA students

    Or they could give it to IQ so that the price range on their items could come down from deep space to about, say, stratospheric level.

    Better yet, it could buy the top 3-4% of every graduating class a bottle of Cristal or something.

    Cristal is out of our price range (and so ostentatious anyways!), but at these prices it could buy a bottle of Dom Perignon for every undergrad getting a diploma. Thanks for submitting Fun Fact No. 2, Jimi!
