The Arizona Desert Lamp

First One In: Nick Jones

Posted in Campus, Politics by Evan Lisull on 16 February 2009

Scant hours after we sent our letters out, Mr. Nick Jones, Senate candidate, sent back his e-John-Hancock, pledging to not support any increases in your student fees; poor Pony Express messenger practically broke his steed getting over here in the wee hours of the morn.

Unfortunately, the Elections Commission has not yet granted Mr. Jones permission to express his political thought in a Facebook group, so we can’t quite say what else he’s proposing (but really, what more do you need?). However, if you’re so inclined, you can view the Facebook groups of the many senators who voted to approve the current code that requires all ASUA Facebook groups to be removed within 48 hours after the end of the election — do as I say, not as I do.

I love Bob Dylan, but in this case he’s way off — Mr. Jones clearly knows what is happening here. Kudos, sir!
