Obama v. UA, round two

Posted in Politics by Evan Lisull on 20 March 2009

Obama with BasketballAs if his slight of the UA basketball team weren’t enough, it now appears that President Obama will address ASU’s graduating class this spring:

President Barack Obama will address a graduating class of more than 8,000, along with their families and friends, at Arizona State University’s spring commencement ceremonies May 13.

“President Obama’s stand and priority on education has been applauded by thousands of educators throughout the United States,” said Michael M. Crow, president of Arizona State University. “The progressive leadership he has already displayed and the values he espouses are a great example for our students and for the extended community that surrounds us,” he said in a statement.

Don’t worry though; once the administration gets super-serial about the Af-Pak War, I’m sure that he’ll come by to praise all the great products that UARaytheon GIVE back to the country.

UPDATE: As you can see below, my colleague edged me on this one. But everyone knows that you can’t have too many bad pictures of Barack Obama.
