Student government should:

Healthy Eating: Encourage students to make healthy choices with new awareness and education programs only.

Club Funding: Maintain current club funding. Retain the Appropriations Board.

UAPD & Red Tag Program: Support an increased police presence and more non-camera security measures.

Free Speech: Pass an official resolution of reprimand when a publication like the Daily Wildcat prints an offensive article or a campus group hosts an offensive event. Attempt to prevent offensive speech by expanding diversity training and social justice programs.

Spending: Maintain current spending on student services and programs.

Job Support: Maintain current support for student employment.

Concealed Weapons: Pass a resolution condemning any attempt to pass legislation allowing concealed carry of handguns on campus. Mobilize students to lobby against such legislation.

Elections Code: Maintain the current ASUA elections code.

Pride Alliance & WRC: Retain Pride Alliance and the Women’s Resource center as ASUA programs and expand their funding.

Textbook Prices: Support stronger government regulation of the textbook market, but create no new lobbying or awareness programs.
