Student government should:

Healthy Eating: Encourage students to make healthy choices by funding discounts and subsidies for nutritious foods. Create new awareness and education programs promoting healthy eating.

Club Funding: Spend more on club funding only with grants or external funds, not student fee monies. Retain the Appropriations Board.

UAPD & Red Tag Program: Maintain current campus safety policies.

Free Speech: Pass an official resolution of reprimand when a publication like the Daily Wildcat prints an offensive article or a campus group hosts an offensive event. Attempt to prevent offensive speech by expanding diversity training and social justice programs.

Spending: Expand student services and programs (Legal Services, Safe Ride, Sustainability, A-Town, Bear Down Camp, CatsRIDDE, etc.), even if it means increasing student fees or creating new ones to pay for them.

Job Support: Maintain current support for student employment.

Concealed Weapons: Pass a resolution condemning any attempt to pass legislation allowing concealed carry of handguns on campus. Mobilize students to lobby against such legislation.

Elections Code: Maintain the current ASUA elections code.

Pride Alliance & WRC: Retain both programs within ASUA and maintain their funding.

Textbook Prices: Support stronger government regulation of the textbook market, but create no new lobbying or awareness programs.
