Student government should:

Healthy Eating: Encourage students to make healthy choices with new awareness and education programs.

Club Funding: Maintain current club funding. Retain the Appropriations Board.

UAPD & Red Tag Program: Support an increased police presence and more non-camera security measures.

Free Speech: Speak out against offensive speech and hold Town Hall meetings and informational events, but avoid official resolutions. Expand diversity training and social justice programs.

Spending: Expand services if it means increasing current fees, but not creating new ones.

Job Support: Provide more student jobs on campus and pay a “fair wage.”

Concealed Weapons: Hold meetings and launch information and awareness programs about concealed carry legislation, but take no official stance.

Elections Code: Maintain the current ASUA elections code.

Pride Alliance & WRC: “Spin off” both programs as independent clubs and expand ASUA funding.

Textbook Prices: Fight rising textbook prices by supporting stronger government regulation of the textbook market, and launching advocacy, awareness, and lobbying programs.
